Tap: Performance Line

The line consists of state-of-the-art tools. The whole range is constantly updated based on the latest technological innovations. These tools have been designed to work, at very high parameters, a broad spectrum of materials, including the most difficult-to-machine materials. All the aspects of each single series have been optimised in terms of:

  • Groove geometry to ensure a safe process for all types of materials. An excellent chip removal enables to increase productivity.
  • Rounding of cutting edges expressly made to ensure an optimal chip formation. Coating to improve wear resistance and reduce cutting forces.
  • The coating and surface treatments allow a reduction of frictions and a lower heat generation.
  • High-quality HSS PM base material to guarantee the maximum performances.
